Nearly a month after they were first spotted having a cozy dinner together in Hollywood, sources have officially confirmed that True Detective co-stars Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch are dating.

Multiple sources confirmed the reports to Us Weekly, saying that the two Canadian actors struck up a romance after growing closer on the set of the hit HBO series.  

"It hasn't been long," one source said. "But it's serious." 

A second source told the magazine that the two actors have actually been friends for a while, but their love blossomed as they filmed the show. 

"They grew closer on set," the source said.  

And though the romance is still new, it appears things are going well for the two. 

"I don't know if it's full-blown love yet, but they talk constantly," another source said. "They're really into each other. She talks about him all the time!" 

The romance with Kitsch comes after McAdams reportedly briefly dated actor Jake Gyenhaal while they filmed the movie Southpaw. She has also previously dated musician Patrick Sambrook, as well as actors Michael Sheen and Ryan Gosling.  

The romance also comes after McAdams told Glamour when she was promoting The Vow in 2012 that she didn't think meeting love interests at work was actually convenient.  

"A set may seem like a good place for romance, but I don't think it's very conducive," she said at the time. "It's too distracting. Every relationship I've had with a coworker comes after the fact."
