Jessica Simpson is only 10 pounds shy from her personal goal of shedding a total 70 pounds since she gave birth in May.

The singer/actress/fashion mogul is currently a Weight Watchers spokesperson who shared that in addition to her sponsored diet, her personal trainer, Harley Pasternak was a key factor to help her weight loss success.

Pasternak, a celebrity personal trainer who has two other first-time mothers as clients, notably Megan Fox and Jennifer Hudson, shared the 5-step exercise plan that helped Simpson lose 60 pounds in less than 6 months on ABC News.

Pasternak is the best-selling author of "5 Factor Diet." He has an expansive "5 Factor" product line that includes DVDs, snacks and workout equipment. He has also trained musical artists to help them maintain a healthy lifestyle during their music tours. Robert Pattinson, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Kanye West are just a few of an extended celebrity clientele Patsernak has worked with.

After famously being slammed by the media for gaining 70 pounds during her pregnancy, Simpson has shed an astounding 60 pounds in five months thanks to Weight Watchers.

Simpson graced the cover of Us Weekly last month. She shared her diet and weight loss tips, and her experience with Pasternak. She was honest about the challenges in her struggle to lose weight.

"My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel," Simpson confessed. "I'm just your everyday woman."

Pasternak, however, commended Simpson for all of her efforts in the issue. "In over 20 years, I've never seen as consistent a weight loss," he told the magazine. "Jessica's right where she needs to be . . . She's gotten so much stronger."

Simpson admitted that the team support at her weekly weigh-ins with fellow dieters has also been helpful.

"It's really encouraging to know we're all going through the same struggle," she said of her weekly weigh-ins.
