She added, "They do ask questions. Do people know you? Why did someone come up to you and call you Tori? How did they know your first name?' That has become a question that they all ask."

Spelling also explains that she doesn't want her children to see her fame as a negative experience either.

The celebrity mother explained, "I show the kids that it's not an odd thing -- I don't want them to be taken aback when people come up to us. They see me embrace people. But I also explain to them that they know me because I write books, because they see me on TV, because they think that what I do is great and they respect my work...and it's a good thing."
