Chelsea Houska has come a long way since her days with Adam Lind.

'Teen Mom 2' Star Chelsea Houska & Boyfriend Cole DeBoer Are Going Strong

On 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom 2, Houska was often seen at odds with Lind, who became infamous for his failure to step up with their daughter, Aubree, and his rude behavior towards Houska. Luckily, after a couple of years of on-again, off-again dating with Lind, Houska has moved on.

Is Chelsea Houska Moving In With Her Boyfriend?

Houska began dating DeBoer, a traffic controller, last summer, months before she began filming the sixth season of Teen Mom 2.

“My relationship with Cole is completely different than past relationships,” Houska told MTV News on Wednesday. “I’ve only had bad relationships — I mean, I’ve had one, really. And that was terrible. Everyone saw that play out.”

What's more? DeBoer is a great figure for her daughter to look up to.

“He’s great with Aubree," Houska gushed. "Cole’s relationship with Aubree is so amazing to me because she’s never had like a positive male role model in her life. I mean, she’s had her grandpa. But as a father figure, he completely stepped up to take on that responsibility — more than I ever could have even imagined.”
