While it’s clear how Andy feels about Sam’s ex-girlriend Marlo having his child, a new Rookie Blue spoiler alert unveils how Sam really feels about fathering a baby with a woman other than Andy.

Andy & Sam’s Fairytale Comes To An End As ‘Marlo Has Serious Issues’

Sam told Andy about the baby news in the premiere that aired last Thursday, but tonight (July 2), will show the fallout between the couple over Marlo’s pregnancy.

As for Sam, the show’s executive producer and creator Tassie Cameron told TVLine Wednesday, “Sam is a good man, and he cares very much for Marlo. What’s he going to do except man up and try and juggle a a very complicated, delicate situation? It’s really interesting to watch how he does that.”

Marlo is already four months along in her pregnancy, but the news is still fresh to Andy, who is tempted to run away from the situation like she has done when things get tough in previous seasons.

“We’ve shown that Andy can take off and run away sometimes if she’s panicked or scared,” Cameron said adding that it the ordeal is Andy’s “perfect situation to fail.”

Even actress Missy Peregrym, who plays Andy, is torn when thinking of how she would handle a similar situation in he real life.

Cameron said, “Missy Peregrym, who is a very emotional, sensitive person who really connects with where Andy’s at, was like, ‘This is terrible! I don’t know what I would do!’ She really brought a lot of that confusion and pain to the dilemma.”

Dealing with it is set to be “a huge struggle for her.”
