Henry Cavill Reveals How 'Batman vs Superman' Fits In With 'Man Of Steel'

Affleck, who is set to make his debut as the Dark Knight in the 2016 film, spoke with Entertainment Weekly in a new interview discussing how Batman will be older and harder in the film.

Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor Will Have More 'Psychological Accuracy' Than Previous Depictions

Batman v Superman sees the two iconic superheroes on the big screen together for the very first time. But that's not all. The film will also feature other Justice League superheroes like Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher).

Zack Snyder, the film's director, spoke on how it will also serve as a gateway to the entire D.C. Cinematic Universe.

"It's a marathon. No, it's a marathon within a marathon," Snyder said. "Do you know that race from Death Valley to the top of Mount Whitney? It's, like, 100 miles and it's from the lowest point in the continental United States to the highest. It's crazy. Anyway, it's like that."

The film also stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
