Leah Messer Talks Being 'Knocked Down' In New Re-Tweet

Last week, as Messer's co-stars, Kailyn Lowry, Jenelle Evans and Chelsea Houska, flew to New York to promote the upcoming sixth season of the MTV reality show, Messer remained in West Virginia.

"The network and the show's producers are sensitive to Leah's current situation, and know that bringing her to New York wouldn't have been good for her right now," a source told The Ashley's Reality Roundup last week.

'Teen Mom 2' Star Leah Messer Is Reportedly 'Happy' & 'Healthy' After Rehab

Although a trip to NYC would have likely led to unnecessary stress to Messer, who entered rehab in May and left in June, a source recently claimed she's doing much better now that she's received treatment for issues of depression and stress.

“[Leah’s] happy, healthy, and ready to start her new life,” the source told In Touch Weekly last month. “[She] hasn’t been this excited about life in a very long time.”

As for the rest of the cast, they were plagued with drama in New York City after Lowry and Houska failed to show up to an event hosted by Evans.

"[Jenelle's] co-stars did not come to that event, which may have added to Jenelle's sour feelings toward Kail and Chelsea," The Ashley reported. "It appears that Jenelle left the press day early today, leaving Kail and Chelsea to do a photo shoot and interviews without her."
