According to a new report, the Real Housewives of New Jersey regular will soon star in a "Mr. Mom"-themed special, which will likely air later this year, prior to his wife Teresa's prison release on Dec. 23.

Last month, Us Weekly confirmed the special.

"The show will document the Real Housewives of New Jersey star's home life without wife Teresa Giudice, who's currently serving a 15-month prison sentence for fraud at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn," the magazine explained. "Joe, 44, has been the sole caretaker for their daughters — Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5 — since January."

While working out the details of the upcoming special, which may turn into a full season, depending on ratings, Joe spoke to the magazine, revealing how life has been without his wife.

"Days go by quick," he told Us Weekly. "[The children] go to school, they come back, they do their homework. Who's gotta go here? Who's gotta go there? They have their little breakdowns here and there. They'll say, 'Daddy, when's she going to be out?' Or 'I miss Mommy.' I just make sure to give them lots of love and a lot of kisses."
