Deena Cortese shared an inspiring message with fans on Instagram this week.

Along with a set of photos of herself, one of which also featured boyfriend Chris Buckner, the former Jersey Shore star encouraged her fans and followers to love their bodies, no matter what size they are.
"To all the girls that think you're ugly because you're not a size 0' you're the beautiful ones..society is ugly #BeProudOfWhoYouAre," she wrote.

Cortese joined the cast of Jersey Shore during season three, replacing Angelina Pivarnick, who left the show one year prior. As a close friend of cast member Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Cortese quickly became acquanted with her co-stars, and remained on the series in a full-time role until its final season years later. After the show wrapped, Cortese appeared on VH1's Couples Therapy, where she and Buckner worked on their relatonship.
“Me and Chris are doing good! Couples Therapy is an amazing thing that we decided to do and it really helped us," Cortese explained to Rumorfix last year. "Dr. Jenn made us feel so comfortable to open up about things we would have never opened up about. My anxiety and OCD was taking over our relationship and Chris had a lot of personal issues too.”
“Even now we will get into a little argument about a compromising issue and we’ll be like ‘before we go any further we should ask ourselves, ‘What would Dr. Jenn say,’ and it actually really helps,” she added.
