It's that time of year again. Shark Week is officially back, and Discovery has a full lineup of specials set to premiere from July 5-12.

After you celebrate Independence Day on July 4, get ready to embrace a full week of sharks. Discovery is holding their annual Shark Week starting on Sunday, with new primetime programming every single day centered around the fascinating sea creatures.

Here is the rundown of specials and when to watch them.

Shark Trek

Greg Skomal leads a team of engineers in finding out why there is an influx in great white shark sightings in Florida. Discovery is calling it the biggest exploration yet into Atlantic great whites. The special airs Sunday, July 5 at 8/7c.

Island of the Mega Shark

Shark Trek leads directly into Island of the Mega Shark, a special that centers on photographing great white sharks in Guadalupe Island, Mexico. This will air Sunday, July 5 at 9/8c.

Monster Mako

Premiere night concludes with Monster Mako. The special features teams will dueling goals. One is hoping to record the speed of the mako, which is the fastest shark in the ocean. The other is hoping to prove that the mako is an ambush predator. The special airs Sunday, July 5 at 10/9c.

Return of the Great White Serial Killer

This special sets out to find answers about a great white shark that has struck Surf Beach, Calif. every two years in October. The special was filmed in Oct. 2014. It will air Monday, July 6 at 9/8c.

Alien Sharks: Close Encounters

"Alien sharks" are explored in this special that features three expeditions setting out to learn more about these special sharks that glow in the dark. It will air Monday, July 6 at 10/9c.

Bride of Jaws

An 18-foot female great white shark with the moniker "Joan of Shark" is featured in this special. Three experts are set to go on a journey to find her in Western Australia. It airs Tuesday, July 7 at 9/8c.

Tiiburones: Sharks of Cuba

A full 70 years after the record-breaking great white shark "The Cuban" was recorded, a special team sets out in Cuba to find a population of great white sharks. This will air Tuesday, July 7 at 10/9c.

Super Predator

Filmmaker Dave Riggs sets out to explore an Australian coast in searching for a predator that wound up consuming a 9-foot great white shark. This special airs Wednesday, July 8 at 9/8c.

Ninja Sharks

This special centers on six very predatory sharks who are very good at what they do. As Discovery notes, the sharks are very adaptive, making them one of the deadliest creatures on the planet. The special airs Wednesday, July 8 at 10/9c.

Shark Planet

Shark Planet takes a more general take on the exploration of sharks. This special presents new information discovered from around the world. It will air Thursday, July 9 at 9/8c.

Sharks of the Shadowland

Jenny Oliver, who survived a shark attack, is joined by researcher Kina Scollay in studying killer sharks bent on attacking government divers in New Zealand. The special airs Friday, July 10 at 9/8c.

Shark Clans

Rodney Fox, another shark attack survivor, teams up with others a full 50 years later to help protect the ocean's creatures from man. The special airs Friday, July 10 at 10/9c.

Sharksanity 2

This roundup special presents all the best moments from this Shark Week. The special also reveals the audience voted greatest moments in Shark Week history. It will air Saturday, July 11 at 9/8c.

Shark Island

Shark Week concludes with Shark Island, in which scientists are trying to figure out the reasoning behind the multitude of attacks at Reunion Island. The island has become the most dangerous place in the world as far as shark attacks. The special airs Sunday, July 12 at 8/7c.
