Fast and Furious 8 might just feature more women in action mode, if any recent reports and speculation were to be taken seriously.

Could Mia Toretto Return For Furious 7 Sequel?

In a recent interview Michelle Rodriguez, who plays Letty in the movies, recommended that the movie cast some more stronger female roles. She even suggested that Fast and Furious 8 should take some inspiration from Mad Max: Fury Road. The actress also addressed rumors about Eva Mendes returning as Agent Fuentes in the movie.

Orange is the New Black's star Ruby Rose also revealed that she was in talks with the creative team of Fast and Furious 8 for a part in the movie.

The Wire's Idris Elba To Join Fast and Furious 8?

In other reports, Vin Diesel recently suggested that he would be game if Helen Mirren wanted to come on board. Last year the actress had made it known by expressing her wish to act in Furious 7. Diesel told Access Hollywood that he wouldn't need to think twice about that. "Of course I would! Who wouldn't? It's Helen," he said.

Even Ronda Rousey has her eye roving for the next female opponent in Fast and Furious 8.

In an interview with MTV, when asked who she thought would make for a strong enemy in the next installment, Rousey picked someone from her professional realm.

"Joanna [Jedrzejczyk]. She's a chick who just won the 115-pound belt," Rousey said. "She's really tiny and skinny, but she's such a little ninja! I think it would be a such a cool addition - someone who looks really unassuming. I know I look good in a Herve Leger dress, but I also look like I could still kill you in it, and Joanna doesn't!"

Fast and Furious 8 will be released on April 15, 2017.

Furious 7 hit theaters on April 3, 2015.
