Fans who are still heartbroken over Jon Snow's shocking death in the season five finale of Game of Thrones may have been given a glimmer of hope about his actual fate for season 6 by the actor who portrayed him.

Though Kit Harington has sworn he would not be back for the show's 6th season next year, which is slated to begin filming later this year, the actor was spotted at Wimbledon last week, sporting his long locks which have allowed him to portray his character. Because his hair is long--a famous clause in his contract for the character, fans have speculated that the return of the longer locks is a sign he will bring Jon Snow back to the show at some point during the season.

The speculation has been growing exponentially because his hair has previously been the key to telling fans about his character's fate. Harington previously chopped off his hair last winter, which caused fans to speculate more about his fate--something that was proven to be right when his character was betrayed by the other members of the Night's Watch in the season finale, who stabbed him to death at Castle Black.

Added to the speculation is co-star Emilia Clarke's recently breaking rank from the show's creators and Harington, who have all been adamant that he wouldn't be back. Though Clarke did not explicitly state that Jon Snow was actually alive, she, like other fans, made note that Melisandre had arrived at Castle Black just before the mutiny--and her dark magic is easily capable of resurrecting a dead man.
