It is still hard to believe that One Direction is no longer a five-piece act, but to make it even more solidified Zayn Malik is apparently moving forward in his solo endeavors.

According to The Mirror by way of The Sun on Sunday, Malik has filed to trademark "Zaughty," which he is partly known for. The other half of "Zaughty" is his friend and producer Naughty Boy who has had a lot of beef with the former 1D member's bandmates.

The trademark will apply to all things relating to the pair in terms of music and fashion.

It is obvious Malik has been working on music with Naughty Boy and he has recently hit up some fashion shows so perhaps a fashion line will be underway too.

"Zayn and Naughty Boy have seen the offers come flooding in from brands wanting to get them on board," a source dished.

"They've been approached to design a clothing line several times but have always declined because they'd want to do it their way," the source added.

"They will start off with designing a range of streetwear clothes. But no doubt they will pair it up with a music project eventually," the source shared.

Malik has not commented on this news publicly, but he did tweet on Monday a photo of a bright, sunny sky.

Perhaps it's a sign that things are looking good for his future despite his rocky departure from 1D and the messy Twitter feud that followed between him, Louis Tomlinson and his friend Naughty Boy.
