CSI: Las Vegas' Elisabeth Harnois is keeping her fingers crossed that Morgan Brody receives a happy ending as the procedural juggernaut comes to a close.

After 15 years on the air, CBS' CSI mother ship will close out it's run with a 2-hour movie event this September. While a pivotal death will punctuate the highly anticipated finale, Harnois has high hopes for the daughter of Clark Country's sheriff.

"It think that she should find love, I hope. I don't know if I'm important enough in the grander world of CSI to be able to get that kind of closure," Harnois joked at the Monte Carlo TV Festival, informing Digital Spy that the higher ups have yet to reveal her character's final arc. "In my dream story for Morgan, I think she finds love and I think it's with one of her friends there in the office. It think for her very close friendship with Greg (Eric Szmanda), I'd love to see them together in the end."

Harnois believes Morgan will stay on with the Las Vegas CSI team, perhaps ultimately moving up the chain of command while continuing to work alongside her father.

If viewers are lucky, Harnois hinted that there is a chance many of CSI's familiar faces could pop up on CSI: Cyber once Ted Danson's (Russell) character makes the jump.

"But it's their universe," Harnois cautioned, reminding viewers that Cyber can stand perfectly well on its own two feet. "We'll see what happens."
