Tuesday just got hotter with the release of Demi Lovato's lyric video for her smash summer hit "Cool for the Summer".

On Twitter the pop star gushed, "#CoolForTheSummer lyric video ya'llllll," while adding in some summer-centric emojis like the smiley with sunnies on it and an ice cream cone.

The lyric video opens with Lovato disrobing from a vibrant magenta-colored robe that has the song title on it.

The lyrics then begin to flash in bright, summery colors after aerial shots of tall buildings and a crowded beach are shown. Plus, there is a glimpse of what looks like a private airport too. There is a huge pool party happening just as the lyrics begin to show.

There are shots taken from Lovato's performance of "Cool for the Summer" while she was at 102.7 KIIS FM's "Cool For The Summer" Pool Party at the WaterMarke Tower on Sunday in Los Angeles, Calif.

But there are also shots from Lovato's other promo pool parties since the single dropped.

There is plenty of splashing in the video as well as inflatable pool toys and poolside dancing.

Plus, "Cool for the Summer" can be spotted on hats and sunnies and there is a cool jet ski segment in the video, which is pretty cool for the summer.

The lyric video ends just as Lovato's seen getting on a private plane in the robe from the beginning of the video and then a final scene of the crowded beach is shown.

If this is any indication of what's to come in the actual music video, we certainly know it'll make the temperature rise!
