PhunkeeDuck wants to be the next step in the evolution of transportation. The New York City based company is a growing money venture that's gained lots of attention since April of 2015.  What is a PhunkeeDuck? It's a self-balancing, two-wheel, smart electric scooter that's the hottest new way to get around.

Designed to carry about 220 pounds and resembling a mini-Segway, this 27-pound device works by stepping onto the platform, one foot at a time activating the touch sensors. Once you are balanced, and you are now ready to go.  It is very intuitive and your brain naturally guides your path. It tops out at a max speed of around 7 or 8 mph, is similar to a fast jogging pace. The tires are rubber, non-inflatable; so riders don't need to worry about getting a flat. On a full charge, the motor can carry rider a total distance of about 15 miles.

With a cost of $1,500, PhunkeeDuck is a little too pricey for most shoppers (even with promotional discounts and free shipping, the price tag is still over a thousand bucks). But while that hefty expense may be a turn off to average folks, it's drop in the bucket for pro athletes, stars, and celebrities. Over the past four months, PhunkeeDuck has become increasing popular with the rich and famous, who can't help but post pictures and videos on social media of themselves playing with the latest hot toy.

Here are just some of the many famous people we've found that are PhunkeeDuck fans.
