Some Zayn Malik solo music may leak sooner than the 2016 timeframe Naughty Boy dished about.

Naughty Boy Hints Zayn Malik Will Release Solo Music In 2016!

So this music won't strictly be just Malik since he seems to have collaborated with British rap duo Krept & Konan.

The "Do It For the Gang" pair dished to Max from Capital FM's Capital EXTRA all about how their collaboration with Malik resulted.

Is Zayn Malik Trademarking 'Zaughty' For Future Business Endeavors With Naughty Boy?

Ironically the rap duo isn't big fans of One Direction, yet they met Malik while he was with Naughty Boy and they all instantly clicked.

"Zayn is mad cool you know, he's like one of us," Konan shared.

They described the music they crafted with the former 1D member as "sick."

Krept also shared that the 22-year-old former boy band member is a big fan of urban music, which is no surprise. Malik has cited since his days on The X Factor that he's into R&B and hip-hop.

His audition song for The X Factor was Mario's "Let Me Love You" so his love for that genre of music does run deep.

Anyway, Krept said, "Zayn's into urban music. He's genuinely into it. He listens to your Chris Browns and your Skeptas."

That led to questions about them collaborating and sure enough they had plenty to divulge.

"Maybe there's a video somewhere," Krept teased, adding, "I'm saying maybe there's one out there. Maybe it might never come out. Maybe it might."

"There's no specific date," Krept declared in terms of when this collaboration will drop, but "there might be a leak" of it eventually.

They're big on making music and releasing it "when the time's right."

It seems like the right time is now. Clips from the video they made have officially leaked on social media.

What do you think of these teasers from the video?
