In the new update, when iOS users hit the Shift key and type a letter, all letters will continue to show in upper case after that letter is typed. In other words, the letters will stay in upper case for as long as you want without having to double tap the shift key for CAPS LOCK.

This change was revealed in a new beta iOS update released over the weekend. This will apparently be part of the iOS 9 update unveiled in the fall.

Other updates through iOS 9 include an improved Siri, a tool to help research public transportation routes and a Nearby function, according to Daily Mail.

iOS 9 on the iPad allows for a few special capabilities not present on the iPhone. Users can run two apps side-by-side on the same screen. Also, you can play a video while also engaging in another app.
