Farrah Abraham was horrified earlier this year after a "botched" plastic surgery procedure.

After opting for lip implants, the Teen Mom OG star visited a surgeon in Southern California, but what she was hoping would lead to a plumper pout lead to a bad reaction -- and serious swelling. Luckily, the doctors of E!'s Botched, Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif, were able to get her lips back to size.

"I was embarrassed to walk in there," Abraham told PEOPLE Magazine on Monday. "Admitting that I messed up on something that I love to do was a little harsh for me to confront at first, but I think it was good to share my story because it was on national headlines and news, so I wanted to show others so they don't have the same complications."

Speaking of the procedure-gone-wrong, Abraham explained, "The anesthesia, nothing was working. I could feel everything, and it was hurting in a crazy way, and my lip was blowing up as I was sitting there. I'm like, 'Okay, you guys need to shoot me with something to get this out of my body because I am clearly having some type of a reaction,' and it was scaring me."

Looking back, Abraham is grateful to her Botched doctors.

"I was just very thankful for Dr. Dubrow's assistance. I was sweating bullets with him just close to me with the needle, but overcoming the fear was like the greatest day of my life because I'm such a supporter of cosmetic and plastic surgery," she concluded.
