There have been a multitude of injuries on the Dancing With the Stars tour.

Caitlyn Jenner 'Not' In Negotiations For 'Dancing With the Stars'?

Melissa Rycroft, who won the all-stars season of Dancing With the Stars, is on tour with many of the show's pros this summer. The former reality star injured her knee during the second show of the tour and is still recovering while performing a few extra dances.

Rycroft spoke with Glamour recently about the tour and how unlucky they've been when it comes to injuries.

Derek & Julianne Hough Want To Travel The World, But For Different Reasons

"The toughest was when we lost Artem [Chigvintsev] because [it happened] halfway through the show," she said. "Literally, at intermission, we reworked the entire second act with dancers going in to fill in for him, or scratching a dance completely, or an extra hosting segment. That was completely done on the fly, and certainly the most stressful. When Peta [Murgatroyd] got hurt, we knew she was going to be out the next day, so we could plan for it. These dancers are so professional though and know everybody's dances just from watching them, so most of the time they can step right in. We've been able to fill the spots because we don't want to leave any dances out for the audiences, and we want to make sure they see a complete show regardless of who was in or not."

Chigvintsev hurt his elbow while Murgatroyd injured her ankle. Last season's winner Rumer Willis sprained her foot. But they are all keeping on as they tour the country through August.

Meanwhile, Dancing With the Stars is coming up on its 21st season this fall. Rycroft admitted that there is one celebrity in particular she would like to see perform on the show.

"I have always said -- because he was the first official love of my life -- Derek Jeter. Now it's perfect because he's not playing anymore and he has a lot of free time! It would be so fun. I have the ultimate crush on him, and I have for 14 years!" she said.

Dancing With the Stars returns for another season on Monday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
