They might be wearing their wedding rings, but Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are unfortunately ending their marriage.

On Wednesday, People reported that the reason the two stars are still wearing the jewels on their fingers is for the sake of their three children- Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.

The kids "are a big part of why they're still wearing [the rings]," a source said. "They just want them to be okay."

Whatever issues they might have with each other, Affleck and Garner are doing everything they can to make sure that their kids stay strong and loved as the split process continues. They're actually spending their summer in Atlanta as Garner films the upcoming movie Miracles From Heaven, and Affleck is visiting.

According to an insider, Affleck "plans to be there with them as much as he can. He's playing Mr. Mom, and that is what he wants to do. As difficult as it is, from what we've seen, it's pretty amicable."

The actress seems to be doing what she can at this point to get by and make sure her daughters and son stay on their feet.

"[Garner] is doing great," a source said. "The kids are with her, which is all she wants. She's as strong as ever."

Affleck and Garner have been married for 10 years. The divorce announcement came just one day after their anniversary this year.
