The Aussies of 5 Seconds of Summer are the ultimate pranksters!

What Hair Color Did Luke Suggest To His 5SOS Bandmate Michael?

The band is known to pull some hilarious pranks especially ones that involve Target, but they totally got a bunch of their fans on Twitter only hours after announcing their big news about their new single "She's Kinda Hot," which is set to drop Friday.

The band made it clear that fans would get to hear the brand new tune on Friday, but just some hours after making the announcement Wednesday they decided to prank their loyal fandom.

5 Seconds of Summer's Ashton Irwin Had His 'First Legal Lager' In America!

Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin, Luke Hemmings and Michael Clifford are totally hyped about their new single dropping very soon that they've been showing off the single's artwork nonstop since making their announcement, which made it seem like they were just overly eager for their fans to hear it finally.

Hood began a countdown shortly after the announcement.

Hemmings also gushed over his excitement as did Clifford.

Irwin Photoshopped his head onto the cheerleader character on the single's artwork.

Anyway, all of this excitement and self promotion of "She's Kinda Hot" led to the band declaring, "Here it is, She's Kinda Hot!" with a video link on Twitter.

Any fan that clicked on it though was in for quite the practical joke. They were Rickrolled by the Australian band. Rickrolling is a meme that includes using Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" and let's just say fans were not exactly pleased with this behavior from the band.

5SOS' new single "She's Kinda Hot" will drop for real tomorrow with a sure-to-be rad lyric video.
