'The Blacklist' Season 3: Liz Is Tom's Only 'Normal' Relationship, Ryan Eggold Dishes On Lingering Feelings

The master criminal joined forces with the FBI back in season 1, but he's more adept at navigating the world's seedy underbelly than he is at playing nice with the Feds. Now that Liz Keen (Megan Boone) is on the run, Red's illicit universe may be their only refuge.

"We kind of blew up the format," series creator Jon Bokenkamp told The Wall Street Journal. "It's not like Red sits down on a park bench with Liz and says 'Here's the Blacklister that I want you to go catch.' That's not what the show is when we come back. They are on the run and they are fugitives."

For fans of Red, the first 10-12 episode will answer some mysteries as to how the former agent operates. It's time for The Blacklist to draw back the curtain.

"As an audience member, I want to know how Red does this stuff. How does it work? Who is this guy?" Bokenkamp explained. "So Liz becomes our eyes and ears into Red's world."
