As if there weren’t enough twists and turns in the new season of ABC’s Rookie Blue, a new spoiler alert prepares fans for even more drama as word of a new season is still uncertain.

Missy Peregrym Reveals How Andy Really Feels About Marlo

Actor Peter Mooney who plays Nick Collins (one character that has most recently seen his share of shocking moments) shared he news with TV Fanatic recently.

“Yes, there is a big twist coming up that we didn’t even see coming. The cast didn’t see it coming, and I don’t know how the writers did such a good job of laying it in along the way and managing to surprise us all. That’s coming up down the pike and coming up pretty zoon for the viewers on ABC so look forward to that.”

As for season no. 7, Mooney said, “We’re actually right at the point where we’re going to find out, so I don’t have any news, but I’m about to find out.”

He said he hopes that his character will have even more “challenges.”

“I think what we’re seeing on these how overall is that a lot of these rookies aren’t rookies any more. Traci’s been a detective for some time now, and she was a rookie detective for a period, and now she’s just a full tilt detecive. So the best thing I find the most fun on the show is moving on to new and different challenges. So if that’s another undercover thing, or if that’s ETC, or a promotion to a different trick, I think that would be something really fun for Nick.”
