How Did 'AHS: Freak Show' Star Sarah Paulson React To Her Emmy Nomination?

Considering Jones will be playing a homicide detective, it seems likely that there will be a fair share of murder in AHS: Hotel.

Jones is joining an all-star cast that includes many actors who have starred in previous seasons of American Horror Story. The cast of Hotel includes Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock, Denis O'Hare, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Chloë Sevigny, Max Greenfield and Lady Gaga.

Based on the recent Emmy nominations, American Horror Story is the show to be on. AHS: Freak Show received 19 Emmy nominations for the upcoming ceremony, including six acting nominations (Lange, Bassett, Bates, Paulson, O'Hare and Wittrock). The series has had very good luck at the Emmys since its inception, with a win for James Cromwell for Asylum, Bates for Coven and two wins for Lange (Murder House and Coven).

American Horror Story: Hotel premieres in October on FX, though the network has not yet announced a specific premiere date.
