'Breaking Amish: Return to Amish' Cast News: Is Mama Mary Living An Amish Or English Lifestyle? [PHOTO]

She previously indicated she was going to make an effort at rejoining the Amish church, but after the season finale of Return to Amish, it seems a little unclear whether Mamma Mary Schmucker is still Amish or if she is finally embracing the less restrictive English lifestyle.

On the July 19 finale, Mary finally embraced a huge part of transitioning to an English lifestyle after dealing with too much tension at home. Escaping to New York to see Kate again, she finally did the unthinkable and had an English makeover--and seemed to be ready to finally give up on the Amish lifestyle, after so many threats and unsuccessful attempts to get back into the church through the years.

However, prior to the season's premiere, Mary took to Facebook to inform fans she wouldn't be back for another batch of episodes because she wanted to try and become a part of the church and fix the relationship she has with the community.

"The little update what people don't know about shunning I've been shunned for 2 years yes I'm trying to get back but this doesn't happen overnight and it won't go away overnight this is something you have to work with I have to prove to the church that I really want to go back," she said at the time. "It's probably going to be about another year before I can get back in but I want everyone to remember it is sad to be shunned but I also had a lot of fun while I was doing the things I wasn't supposed to do either way it was good and it was bad so this season will be my last season."

Her most recent posts on her Facebook page also seem to suggest she is still actively trying to get back in the community, but is still being shunned.

One of her most recent posts even detailed a new heart-breaking situation which is making her struggle with being shunned even more difficult--though she is still encouraging fans to get in touch with her.

"My oldest granddaughter turn 11 on Wednesday so they're having a birthday party for her today so Chester went there and I'm going out for supper in DuBois Ruby Tuesday I can't go to the birthday party because I'm still shunned so if you in the area stop in and say hi," she wrote July 19.
