The former CBS star will jump to The CW when se takes on the role of a femme fatale, according to TV Line. It is currently unknown when the character will be introduced, although a tweet from Swallow indicates that Amara may feature in the premiere.

Episode 3 wrapped production on Thursday ahead of filming for the fall premiere on Friday. TV Line originally stated that Amara would first appear in the Jensen Ackles' directed installment, but the latest announcement has backpedaled on that news. The role is recurring, however, which means Swallow could technically feature in both episodes.

Season 11 will focus on The Darkness, a pre-biblical force inadvertently unleashed by the Winchester bros. during "My Brother's Keeper." Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Ackles) will be united against this dangerous new big bad, but it could be the worst enemy they've faced since Lucifer himself (check out The Darkness below).

"It's safe to say this is the biggest thing to happen to the boys in a long time," executive producer Jeremy Carver teased, according to TV Guide Magazine. "We're starting to explore pre-biblical territory, a part of the universe's history that hasn't been written about before. This is what happened before the Bible begins."
