Uzo Aduba could potentially win her second consecutive Emmy for her scene-stealing role on Netflix's Orange Is the New Black.

'Orange Is the New Black' Emmy Haul Way Down From Last Year

Aduba, who plays Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren on the prison dramedy, received another Emmy nomination last week. The actress was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, where she will compete against Christine Baranski of CBS's The Good Wife, Emilia Clarke and Lena Headey of HBO's Game of Thrones, Joanne Froggatt of PBS's Downton Abbey and Christina Hendricks of AMC's Mad Men.

Aduba won the Emmy last year in the category Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series. This is when the show competed in the comedy categories, and also when Aduba was simply a recurring guest star rather than a series regular.

How 'Orange Is the New Black' Wound Up Saving Laverne Cox's Livelihood

She is also now the only actor or actress from her show to receive multiple Emmy nominations for her performance. Last year her co-stars Laverne Cox (Sophia), Natasha Lyonne (Nicky), Taylor Schilling (Piper) and Kate Mulgrew (Red) were also nominated, but they were all snubbed this year.

Aduba spoke about her second consecutive nomination via The Associated Press.

"I guess for me it does feel better the second time around," Aduba admitted on Thursday. "I just feel really grateful. I feel blown away, like if I was a leaf, I'd have blown right off the stage."

But now it's back to reality for a little while.

"I'm going back to New York tomorrow, and I'll be back in, you know, my jumpsuit," Aduba said. "I'll just be thinking about that primarily. "

Right now, Aduba is in third place as far as awards predictor Gold Derby's odds for winning her category. She is behind Hendricks and current frontrunner Headey. But considering how beloved Aduba is in the industry, it's very possible that she will pull off an upset.

Orange Is the New Black is currently available to stream on Netflix.
