When it comes to Kim Kardashian's future, her boyfriend Kanye West and her mother Kris Jenner both have her best interests at heart, but they don't necessarily agree on what's right for the reality star.

Now that Kardashian has spent several years at the epicenter of the E! network's thriving reality show empire, she is looking ahead and taking advice for her loved ones of what she should do next.

Kardashian's contract with E! will expire next year, so she needs to make decision about what she sees herself doing in the next few years.

West has reportedly been telling his girlfriend that she should leave "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" and move on to bigger and better things. The rapper thinks that not renewing her E! contract could open up a host of other doors, according to a report from Life & Style Weekly.

"Kanye doesn't want to film the show anymore," a source said. "And he doesn't want Kim to do reality TV anymore, either. He's pushing her to stop."

West would prefer Kardashian to pursue a career in acting rather than prolong her reality TV work, but her mother Kris Jenner has other ideas.

Jenner, who also works as the manager for all her children, doesn't think Kim has what it takes to be a successful actress, according to a source close to the family.

"Kris thinks Kim should stick to reality TV because she does not have the voice to make it as an actress," a friend of the Kardashian family said. "Her voice is too whiney, so Kris thinks she should work with a vocal coach and an acting coach."

But despite the disagreement, Jenner does feel that West is a perfect match for her daughter, and she's excited to see Kardashian in a good place.

"He's a really great guy. He's really great, he's great with Kim," Jenner said. "They're really happy, and when your kids are happy you're happy."
