Looking to continue their impressive season, Everton will host Arsenal at Goodison Park on Wednesday.  David Moyes' squad has been very consistent this season sporting six draws in the first 13 matchups of the year.  On the other hand, Arsene Wenger's club saw their momentum slow when they left Aston Villa with a tie over the weekend.  The respective game was only the fourth time that the Gunners didn't score a goal this season.

The Toffees sit in fifth place at the start of the midweek fixtures with 21 points.  The team is only ahead of Arsenal by a mere point.  To top it off, Everton occupies the final European competition spot for next year.

However, the Toffees will have to compete with its past track record, as the Gunners remain undefeated in the past 10 matches versus Everton.  Arsenal has also been very successful in preventing Everton's attack, conceding very few goals this season.

Nonetheless, Everton is unbeaten on their home field this year and Moyes will more than likely expect nothing less than a draw at Villa Park but push his team for a victory.

The Toffees began their campaign with sky-high expectations after defeated Man United and going on to win three out of the next six games, with five out of seven ending with draws.

Although ties are more ideal than losses, Moyes' team may have to pull out more wins in order to fend off clubs such as Arsenal and Liverpool, who could easily begin to string together victories.

The Gunners remain flawless since their 2-1 loss at Old Trafford, but similar to Everton, wins have been sparse.  The team hasn't accrued three points since it barely won out against QPR.
