Their recent history was extremely tense because of Luke's (Anthony Geary) psychotic break causing him to target Michael (Chad Duell) and nearly killing him, but despite that, Michael will still seek out a final audience with Luke in a last plea to build the AJ Quartermaine memorial clinic on General Hospital.  

Anthony Geary Trashes His Luke Exit Storyline

After he lost control of ELQ thanks to Nikolas (Tyler Christopher), Michael made a surprising move to give Sonny (Maurice Benard) back custody of Avery, and has since lost his purpose in life. However, now, thanks to Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) he has a renewed plan of action to build the memorial clinic in his father's memory--but he will still need to talk to Luke about it.

When Michael was initially planning to build the clinic, he was hoping to put it on the property that happened house Luke's childhood home, and thanks to a then psychotic Luke's ministrations, he was kept out of the deal and off the property--which then scrapped the clinic completely. However, now that Luke has since begun to recoup with reality, Michael will seek him out to see if the property can once again house the site.

"We have business and I can't leave until it's concluded," Michael says to Luke in a preview clip for the July 22, 2015 episode.

Considering since then, Luke returned to the house and finally coped with his demons from his past--so he may make a deal with Michael that they visit the house together one last time before it gets knocked down for good.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
