'Castle' Star Stana Katic Tweets Sweet Message To Her Co-Stars

But now, Altstadt is simply telling fans to relax and trust in the new showrunners, Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter.

The tweet was retweeted and favorited by over 100 followers.

It is not abundantly clear what Altstadt is referencing, though it may have something to do with the rampant speculation about season 8.

Ever since the showrunners announced they were going to "shake things up" in season 8, Castle fans have been worried, speculating various scenarios about what this means.

More speculation began when TVLine released a blind item revealing that "one of TV's most popular love stories" would come to an end, a move that would "seismically alter the DNA of the series."

Many fans guessed that this concerns Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic), especially given the recent news that new character Hayley (Toks Olagundoye) would be spending a significant amount of time with Castle in season 8.

However, nothing has been confirmed by ABC or Castle producers regarding this speculation. The blind item is still blind.

Castle fans are simply hoping for the best, that the show's new bosses will treat the characters with respect and dignity.

Castle season 8 premieres Monday, Sept. 21 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
