Criminal Minds star A.J. Cook is a mother to two sons now as she delivered her second child on July 23.

Could Ella Greenaway Return For Season 11?

US Weekly reported the details of the actress' -- who plays Jennifer Jareau on the CBS procedural -- newborn. The child has been named Phoenix Sky Andersen, the publication reveals. Cook's other son is 6-year-old Mekhai Allen.

It had been previously revealed that Cook will be missing for the first few episodes of season 11 of Criminal Minds on account of being a new mother to Phoenix. A new Zap2it report about Cook's newborn also sources an interesting quote by showrunner Erica Messer hinting at getting a guest star for the actresses' absence.

New Character To Play Dr. Reid's Romantic Interest?

"My hope is we could have a fun guest star when A.J.'s on maternity leave," Messer said. "It will be different because JJ won't be there. There is no replacing her as we know, but there's an opportunity there to have fun for a few episodes."

In related news, the latest guest star addition to the show is Marisol Nichols. Previously, Nichols had a recurring role in the last season of NCIS, where she played the part of Agent Zoe Keats. TVLine reported that the actress will be portraying Agent Colburn, "a top agent at a Los Angeles outpost of the FBI."

Season 11 will premiere on Sept. 30.

The finale of Criminal Minds aired on May 6.
