Fans should bring out the napkins for the next episode of Beauty and the Beast if its preview is anything to go by.

Catherine's Old Flame To Return In Season 4

The clip for the episode, titled 'Shotgun Wedding,' is bittersweet, as it does mark a momentous occasion that all have waited for, but it will be tarnished by a tragedy. "Every wedding has some tears," runs the tag line for the episode.

The beautiful glimpses from Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Catherine's (Kristin Kreuk) wedding are interspersed with tense moments and a whole lot of action. As Catherine prepares to get wed, and Vincent also beams at the altar waiting for his bride, a parallel storyline is being pursued. Vincent is told that he is the only one who can stop Liam. In another scene as gunshots are fired, Tess (Nina Lissandro) is seen looking terrified shouting for Vincent. As J.T. (Austin Basis) and Catherine are seen stunned on the phone, it seems like they have been hit by some shocking news. Could it be that Vincent has been gravely injured?

Heather To Organize Vincent & Catherine's Wedding? 

Here's the official synopsis for the episode:

"Cat (Kristin Kreuk) is excited to finally walk down the aisle with Vincent (Jay Ryan), but can't help worry that the rash of superhuman experiments will ruin her destined moment. Vincent, JT (Austin Basis) and Tess (Nina Lisandrello) are determined to do anything they can to keep Cat focused on her big day before all hell breaks loose. Nicole Gale Anderson also stars. Stuart Gillard directed the episode written by Brad Kern and Anthony Epling ."

The episode will air on the CW July 30.
