Earlier this week, Female First posted the details on the Oscar winner who opened up on living her last moments of her 30's. She'll be turning 40 on August 7th and she's excited to enter the new decade.

"Forties rock," she said via Thursday's report from Times of India. "People are so concerned for me. It's okay. It's such a weird thing that we put so much...I think especially for women. I'm so happy to be in my 40s and not be in my 20s and worried about whether I fit into my skinny jeans or whether I will be able to get into that club."

Did Charlize Theron Take A Break From The Public Eye?

Even though Theron and actor Sean Penn called it quits last month, the actress mentioned that she's happy and found something else that she can devote her time to.

"It's just so nice to be in love with your couch and make cheesy sandwiches and just enjoy life, it's been great," she said.

The actress's 40th birthday might sound like a big event to some, but Theron said that she doesn't have any particular plans at this point.

"I don't know. I honestly haven't even been thinking about it," she said. "I just literally wrapped a movie two days ago, I have not thought of it, I'm leaving town in two days. I've never been a big birthday person."
