After weeks of drama Trina Braxton’s divorce to Gabe Solis was finally official on last night’s episode of WeTV’s Braxton Family Values. Just moments later, she introduced her famous family to her new love; but will they be able to overlook the trauma Solis brought and accept the new man?

Braxton met Jace when he began working on the construction for her new restaurant Bar Chicks. Their connection quickly turned from business to pleasure when he asked her out on a date.

While Braxton was hesitant to move forward too fast given she was in the middle of a brutal battle with Solis, she started dating him. Once her divorce was finalized, they went full speed ahead and he met her hilarious and outspoken sisters at a local restaurant. They definitely didn’t hold back when giving him the third degree.

The matriarch, Miss Evelyn, asked about his family before Traci Braxton pointed out that he answered every question with “ma’am.”

Tamar Braxton asked how old he is before Traci asked him what he does as a living.

Miss Evelyn wasn’t too hard to please once he told her he was “raised in a church.”

“I like you already,” she said.

He also revealed he has been married before and has three children. But they were just happy that they are by the same woman and he and the mother still have a good, cordial friendship.

Still, Trina was a little embarrassed and asked, “Who do my sisters think they are? Sherlock Holmes?”

Later in the episode, he made it clear that he wouldn’t let him pay for their own meal. That’s how he won over the rest of the family.
