The Americans Star Joining Cast For Season 7

Just last week, another guest star was announced for the next chapter. TVLine revealed that Bridget Regan, best known for her work as a villainous on Jane the Virgin, will be coming on board.

The revelation about Regan's playing a part in season 7 of The Good Wife was first made via an image Julianna Margulies, who plays Alicia on the show, posted on Facebook from the set of filming. The side profile of Regan can be seen as she sitting on a chair in Alicia's new office.

TVLine confirmed that the actress is indeed going to be seen in the next season of the CBS legal drama and that she will most likely be one of Alicia's clients.

Margulies revealed the first on set stills from filming of the next chapter around July 14. In the new pictures Alicia is seen wearing her hair differently, making her look even more sharper if such a thing were possible.

Even Makenzie Vega, who plays Alicia's daughter Grace, is seen an image. Alicia's new office also looks pretty chic for a start-up, unless of course her partnership with Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) will afford her the luxury. Margulies also revealed that filming began on July 10.

The next chapter of the legal drama is set to premiere on CBS on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 9 p.m.

The season 6 finale, entitled 'Wanna Partner?' aired on CBS on May 10.
