'NCIS: LA' Season 7: Deeks Takes A Tumble [PHOTOS], Is Kensi To Blame?

The CBS drama has made a habit of filming several fall episodes during April and May, and usually the premiere is among them. While the Los Angeles spinoff did film two stories last spring, one of which included Michael Weatherly (Tony), it appears neither of these will serve as the season opener.

"I am hearing that NCIS fave Michael Weatherly's crossover, currently penciled in for October, is quite hilarious," TV Line's Matt Mitovich reported on Monday. "Said simply: DiNozzo + Deeks = LOLOLOLOL."

'NCIS: LA' Season 7: Sabatino Returns, Daniela Ruah & Eric Christian Olsen Begin Filming

The premiere, which will air on Sept. 21, will be titled "Active Measures." There is a chance that the premiere is the episode currently in production and will be penned by Scott Gemmill and directed by executive producer John Peter Kousakis.

If this is true, viewers will see Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) getting a workout at the beach during the season opener. Filming for episode 701 (airing order unconfirmed) begain on Friday, and Ruah could be seen decked out in a jogging kit while Olsen took a spill in Playa Del Rey.
