On Stitchers for its first season the core cast has been Emma Ishta (Kirsten on the series), Kyle Harris (Cameron on the series), Allison Scagliotti (Camille on the series), Ritesh Rajan (Linus on the series) and Salli Richardson-Whitfield (Maggie on the series), but that's going to change heading into season 2.

How Natural Is The On-Screen Chemistry Between 'Stitchers' Stars Emma Ishta & Kyle Harris?

Damon Dayoub has been seen on the procedural drama since it debuted on ABC Family as Detective Fisher and he will now be a series regular like his costars mentioned above for the second season.

The Hollywood Reporter announced the news on Monday.

How Much Of Camille Should Be Shown According To Linus When She Meets His Parents On 'Stitchers'?

The actor rejoiced in his promotion on Twitter Monday night, declaring, "Couldn't be happier to join the incredible cast and crew."

Dayoub has only been recurring in season 1 of Stitchers, with his character helping out Kirsten and the rest of the program's members on cases as needed. He has been part of a stakeout in the fourth episode called I See You, among helping in other ways like saving the team's lives in the eighth episode called Fire in the Hole.

We imagine now with Dayoub's promotion to series regular his character will become a bigger part of the storyline especially in regard to helping Kirsten find out who killed Ed (Hugo Armstrong).

Stitchers airs on ABC Family at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesdays.
