Shelli Worries About Things Changing Between Her & Clay Outside The 'Big Brother 17' House

After Clay saved himself in the Veto ceremony on Monday, HOH Vanessa chose to nominate Jason in his place. Jason was visibly upset by this and openly cried, saying that he ruined his chance of changing his life. He assumes beyond a shadow of a doubt that he will be evicted on Thursday, and as of now, he is unfortunately right.

Meanwhile, Jackie had assumed that Austin was going to be backdoored, so Vanessa's choice of Jason was a huge blindside. She, Jason, Meg and others went around the house on Monday trying to figure out what led to Vanessa nominating Jason.

Shelli and Clay told them that they had no part in the plan and that they were just as shocked as everyone else They were lying. In fact, Shelli helped orchestrate the hit on Jason when she told Vanessa that the other side of the house might be targeting Clay, and that they needed to keep as many allies as they can (hence why they didn't backdoor Austin).

Meg told Vanessa that Shelli and Clay denied being in on the plan to backdoor Jason, which angered Vanessa. Vanessa told Meg that Shelli and Clay were lying to her (Meg). So Meg went and told Jackie, James and Jason that Shelli and Clay weren't to be trusted. After Jason is gone, it is very likely that Jackie, James and Meg will target Shelli and Clay, with an emphasis on Shelli.

Big Brother 17 returns for another episode on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The episode features the Power of Veto competition and the Veto ceremony.
