Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin have exposed their marital troubles on Teen Mom 2's sixth season.

Although the series is a reality show, and fans would expect Lowry to show both the good and bad of her relationship, the reality star admitted during a recent Q&A session that her fans' comments regarding her marriage are often a bit hard to take.

"Honestly, that is my biggest struggle right now," Lowry admitted, according to a report by The Ashley's Reality Roundup last week. "I want to reply to everyone who has their opinion on my marriage and me in general and sometimes I do but I have to remember that I'm never going to be able to change their minds. Especially when they only see 10-15 minutes of my life a week. Sometimes I just stay off social media. At the need of the day the only people who I have to prove myself to are my family."

Although Lowry and Marroquin attended marriage counseling during filming on season six of Teen Mom 2, their relationship was plagued with regular arguments, which were often prompted by Marroquin's lack of trust for Lowry.

"I felt embarrassment," Lowry revealed to OK! Magazine earlier this month. "There were people that tweeted us and said that we weren't going to last. So that conversation and talking about divorce wasn't something that I wanted to open up to everybody."
