According to George Clooney, life is great with his wife Amal, but unfortunately, his fans aren't buying it. In fact, the Hollywood actor is taking a lot of heat on the Internet these days for numerous PR-approved photo ops that show just how happy and in love he is with his wife.

According to People Magazine on Tuesday, the couple was spotted enjoying a motorcycle ride near George's estate in Lake Como, Italy, leading to hundreds of comments from readers who say they've had enough of the Clooney publicity machine. Critics are also saying that the photos of George and Amal on the motorcycle look eerily similar to pics taken of George with his past girlfriends, which included Sarah Lawson, Stacy Kiebler, and many more.

One reader wrote, "Another day another photo op. Why George Why? You had a career, respect, private adulation, public adulation. Then 3 days in Venice threw it all away. People and fans don't mind what you did, it was THE way you did it; NO humility, NO humor, and definitely NO grace," along with, "Ugh. This is like an older version of the Tom Cruise-Katie Holmes Story."

George's very public relationship with Amal might indeed be hurting his popularity as his latest blockbuster hit, Tomorrowland, failed to bring in an audience earlier this summer.
