Another face has officially joined the cast of ABC's Secret and Lies.  

New Details About Season 2 Revealed

The anthology series has added Lost alum Terry O'Quinn to its cast for the second season, which is slated to have Detective Cornell (Juliette Lewis) follow a new mystery, and is set to air early next year.  

According to The Hollywood Reporter, O'Quinn will portray John Warner, a charming finance magnate who built a Charlotte private-equity firm on a model of honesty and morality. Now as he prepares to retire, he passes the reins down to his heir apparent and eldest son, Eric (Michael Ealy). But tragedy strikes when at the party celebrating Eric's promotion, his life, Kate, is found murdered. Now the plans for the future are put entirely on hold as Jon tries to lead his family through the tragedy.  

Mekia Cox Joins 'Secrets and Lies'

O'Quinn also joins Ealy and Mekia Cox as parts of the cast. Cox will play Amanda Warner, Eric's sister and a criminal attorney who stands by her brother's side when he becomes Cornell's prime suspect in the investigation into Kate's death. 

The first season of the series, which saw Ryan Phillippe in the lead role, saw major success for ABC for with high ratings, as the show handed out several twists and turns in the mystery, before finally revealing that Phillippe's character, Ben Crawford, was now responsible for his son's death, which was actually committed by his daughter, Abby (Belle Shouse). To protect her, Crawford confessed to the crime and went to prison in her place.  

In the online addendum to the show, Cornell Confidential, it was strongly hinted at that Crawford later died in prison, and Cornell was able to track down Abby and put her away with help from her older sister, Natalie (Indiana Evans).
