NCIS: Los Angeles is rolling out the titles for season 7.

'NCIS: LA' Season 7: Premiere Title Announced, Will Tony DiNozzo Really Feature?

The CBS drama kick started its production machine last week, and the premiere title slipped out shortly after. Now, writer Dave Kalstein ("Expiration Date," "Spiral") has confirmed that one of his scripts will be next to go in front of the camera.

Titled "Aegis," Kalstein's episode will film as 702 (airing order unconfirmed) and will be directed by Eric Laneuville ("Savoir Faire," "Allegiance").

While Kalstein has yet to dole at any spoilers for his storyline, the title refers to the protection or backing of a person or organization. It remains to be seen if the Office of Special Projects will be the one providing this protection, or if the team will need help from an outside party.

NCIS: Los Angeles has already completed two episodes for season 7, both of which were filmed at the conclusion of season 6. One of these episodes will feature NCIS'  Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and air in October while the other was directed by LA's own Chris O'Donnell (Callen).
