Evangeline Lilly (born Nicole Evangeline Lilly on August 3, 1979) is a Canadian actress, who starred as Kate Austen in ABC drama, Lost, from 2004 to 2010.
Actress Evangeline Lilly was unrecognizable at the world premiere for the first "Hobbit" film. Lilly debuted a short haircut with blonde highlights on the red carpet premiere of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" in Wellington, New Zealand on Nov. 27. Lilly, 33, is known for her long, curly dark locks when she appeared on the now cancelled ABC hit "Lost." The series cancelled in 2010 and since then she has remained out of the spotlight until Wednesday.
Director Peter Jackson took loyal fans at Comic-Con on a journey back to Middle Earth on Saturday with footage of his upcoming film fantasy "The Hobbit," calling the new epic "made by fans, for fans."
