After performing with a number of famous female singers at the Sound for Change benefit concert in Tickenham, U.K., on Sunday, June 2, Jennifer Lopez has stated in an interview with U.K.'s Stylist magazine that female artists are taking over the music industry.
Lopez said she has been in the music business for so long that she is ''here to stay'' and that a lot of male artists are not doing as well because females have been breaking the industry for over 20 years.
''Women have taken over the music industry - when you think of all the female artists who are out," she said.
