The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ handsets will be launched today in the US with no carrier logos.

Sprint announced that it will sell the Galaxy Note 3 starting Friday, Oct. 4, in all sales channels, including Sprint stores, business sales, web sales and telesales at 1-800-SPRINT1.

With the holiday season just around the corner and the iPhone 5 already rolled out, Sprint will aim to compete with both AT&T and Verizon by launching LTE at a rapid speed. The carrier stated that it will be offering its high-speed 4G network to 11 more cities and countries in upcoming weeks.

Many Samsung customers around the world have been waiting to update their Galaxy S3 devices with the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
