'Lovely Runner' Episode 9: Spoilers, Release Date, Trailer And Where To Watch With English Subtitles
"Lovely Runner" episode 9 will see Im Sol traveling back in time once more to save Sun-jae.
A trailer for the Korean drama's ninth episode teased the aftermath of Sun-jae (Byeon Woo-seok) being attacked by an unidentified assailant in his hotel room.
In "Lovely Runner" episode 8, all appeared to be well in Sol's (Kim Hye-yoon) current timeline in 2023 following her two trips to 2008.
She was walking, driving and working at a media production company after changing the past and avoiding what viewers now know to be an attempted murder rather than an accident.
Though still a superstar, Sun-jae no longer appeared to be as gloomy as he did before Sol went back to the past -- likely because she escaped relatively unscathed from the 2008 incident.
Sol even confessed her feelings to Sun-jae, leading to a steamy kiss between the now-couple that fans had been looking forward to for weeks.

However, it seemed that Sol was unable to change Sun-jae's fate as "Lovely Runner" episode 8 ended with his life hanging in the balance at the hospital.

According to the trailer for episode 9, Sol goes back in time again, though this time she lands in 2009.
Now college students, Sol and Sun-jae are seen going on a trip with their schoolmates and having fun while playing games.
The "Lovely Runner" episode 9 teaser also showed police investigating the case of the taxi driver who kidnapped Sol and tried to kill her.
Officers recovered the car keys to the man's taxi that Sol had previously taken when she was kidnapped.

Fans were also given a potential glimpse of how Hyun-joo (Seo Hye-won) and Im Geum's (Song Ji-ho) romance began.
In the clip, Geum is seen crying and lamenting about a lost love while hanging upside down from a tree.
Hyun-joo finds him in this state and asks, "Did you break up [with your girlfriend]?"
Meanwhile, Sol appears to avoid Sun-jae seemingly in an effort not to leave him hurt and disappointed once she goes back to her original timeline.
"By the time this spring ends, I won't be here," she says in the trailer.
At the end of the teaser, Sol can be seen marking a particular date on a calendar, saying: "This is really the last time."
Another teaser shared by tvN on Instagram showed the hilarious moment Sol first meets Sun-jae in 2009.
In the clip, Sol wakes up to find herself sitting on a statue in what appeared to be a college campus. She looks around and sees a billboard on the side of the building indicating that she's in the year 2009.
While trying to get down from the statue, Sol accidentally slips and falls, causing Hyun-joo and the other students to rush to catch her.
Sol ultimately ends up being saved again by Sun-jae.
While the teasers confirmed that Sol's trips to the past are not yet over, they left several questions unanswered, such as why Kim Tae-sung (Song Geon-hee) was seen standing outside Sol's apartment in episode 8 and what role he plays in this whole situation.
It also remains unconfirmed who attacked Sun-jae, though fans have theorized that the assailant could be the taxi driver, who may have been getting revenge on Sun-jae because he saved Sol and helped the police catch him.
Fans can catch what happens next to Sol and Sun-Jae when "Lovely Runner" episode 9 airs on tvN on Monday.
