50 Cent has filed a lawsuit against his ex, Daphne Joy, after she accused him of rape and physical abuse, according to a report.

In the court documents obtained by Page Six, the "In da Club" rapper, born Curtis James Jackson III, claimed that the model only made the allegations because he filed for sole custody of their 11-year-old son, Sire, after she was named as an alleged sex worker of Sean "Diddy" Combs' in a lawsuit.

The American rapper and actor also alleged that Joy, real name Daphne Joy Narvaez, was trying to damage his business reputation and child custody case by posting about the rape and abuse allegation on Instagram, where she had thousands of followers. She also reportedly subjected him to online hate.

50 Cent included a letter his legal counsel sent Joy on April 2 asking her to take down the post and issue a retraction statement. However, she reportedly refused, and her lawyers asked for millions of dollars and for him to drop the custody battle before she would remove the post on Instagram, which the rapper deemed "clearly extortive."

"Despite being given ample opportunity to retract a false and malicious retaliatory accusation, Ms. Narvaez has shamefully chosen to interfere with her 11-year-old son's relationship with his loving father by falsely calling him a 'rapist,'" his lawyer said in a statement to Page Six.

"The motivation behind this appears to be Ms. Narvaez's unfortunate entanglement and misguided loyalty to Mr. Combs, who we believe to be underwriting this attack and whom Mr. Jackson has been warning Ms. Narvaez and others about for many years."

Joy shared a scathing post on Instagram in March. She began her post by writing 50 Cent's real name, "Curtis James Jackson," before claiming, "Everything is a joke to you until our safety is compromised, which is happening now."

She alleged that they moved to New York so the "Just A Lil Bit" rapper could father their son, but he allegedly only saw him 10 times in two years. She added that she was "tired of upholding and protecting an image to our son that you have never even earned."

"Let's put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor, and my God will handle you from this point on," she wrote. "You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these last and final false claim made against me. You have broken our hearts for the last and final time."

The musician slammed Joy's "disturbing" post. Via his rep, he claimed it was "in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son." 50 Cent clarified that his main priority was their child.

Joy and 50 Cent dated between 2011 and 2012. They split after the birth of their son, Sire, who is now 11.

In 2013, Joy claimed that he kicked her during an argument and destroyed her property. 50 Cent pleaded not guilty to one count of domestic violence and four counts of vandalism. He was sentenced to three years probation and 30 days of community service, Forbes reported.

Meanwhile, in a separate post on Instagram before his scathing message for 50 Cent, Joy denied that she was among those women who received "a monthly stipend" from Diddy. She called the claim that she was a sex worker "100% false and character assassination." She also warned Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones, who made the claim in his lawsuit against Diddy, that she was considering taking legal action against him and his lawyer.
