Daryl Hannah was arrested protesting the Keystone XL pipeline in front of the White House gates in Washington on Wednesday.

The group of protestors, including Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend Conor Kennedy, was arrested when they refused to disperse after handcuffing themselves to the White House gates. They were protesting the Keystone XL pipeline, which is being built to transfer oil to the Gulf Coast from Alberta, Canada. There were close to 50 people arrested in the demonstrations and they were released on $100 bond a piece.

Shortly after she was released, Hannah, 46, was interviewed by Sean Hannity to discuss her position on wanting to save the environment.

“So you go out of jail in time,” Sean Hannity said to Hannah on his television show. The actress, who was arrested fighting the same cause in October 2012, was supposed to be bailed out of jail by the conservative talk show host as he once promised.

“Last time you were on the program, I said I would bail you out of jail. I tried to do it the last time you were arrested, and I wasn’t able to. So how do I bail you out?” he asked.

“That’s because the bail was too big last time. Now you only owe me a hundred bucks,” she answered. “Do you want an ecosystem, water and soil, and everything that is poisoned?”

Hannah said her reason for causing the disturbance is because she wants “clean air, clean water and no hurricanes.” The Splash actress has even pinned the ravage of Hurricane Sandy to the effects of global warming.

The 52-year-old is famous for her roles in Kill Bill, Wall Street, Blade Runner and Steel Magnolias.
